Voice Response System (VRS)
Using the automated system and a touchtone phone, you will be able to access the following information:
- General Payment Information - Including address for mail-in payments and Public Service Center locations for walk-in payments
- Specific Citation Information - Using the nine digit citation number, you can obtain the amount due, whether or not your citation has been suspended, and the date the most recent partial payment was received
- Booted Vehicle Information - You can obtain general information concerning the procedure for getting your vehicle released, as well as information on the amount owed for specific citations
- Contesting Citations Information - The VRS can be used to obtain general information about several of the most common reasons for contesting citations, including what to do if your vehicle was stolen, sold, or in possession of a valid disabled placard or preferential parking permit at the time the citation was issued.
In addition to the automated VRS telephone system, between the hours of 8am and 5pm, Monday through Friday, you have the option of speaking to a live Customer Service Representative. During those hours, a TTY dedicated telephone number is also available.
Customer Service Representatives can provide you with detailed information about your citation(s), including the results of investigations, dates payments and correspondence were received, and Hearing time, date, and location. In addition, a Customer Service Representative can perform an Administrative Review by telephone. An Administrative Review is the first step in contesting a citation.
