Overnight Visitor Permits

In addition to the resident (annual) permits, each household within an Overnight Parking Permit District is entitled to two Visitor permits. A Visitor permit is valid for a period of four months and costs $10.00.

The vehicle using the visitor permit must be parked anywhere is the district on which the permitee resides and which is posted with Overnight Parking District signs. A visitor permit allows the vehicle driver to park anywhere within the limits of the assigned parking district on streets posted with Overnight Parking District Signs, provided that there are no additional posted restrictions.

First time purchase of visitor permits must be done in person at a Customer Service Center. You must provide photo ID when purchasing Visitor permits. If you do not already have an Annual permit, and you wish to purchase visitor permits you must provide two proofs of residency.

Two of the following documents must be used to satisfy the two proofs of residency requirement:

• Driver's License
• Property tax bill or rental/lease agreement
• Utility bill (Cable TV, telephone (landline only), gas, water, or electric)

Applicants for a visitor parking permit are required to clear all unpaid parking citations prior to the issuance or renewal of a visitor permit.
