Unregistered Vehicles

You are legally required to maintain current registration on your vehicle. If your vehicle has not been registered, you must go to your local DMV and register your vehicle before it will be released. If necessary vehicle registration information is stored in your towed vehicle, you may go to the OPG and retrieve that information. If your vehicle requires a smog test before it can be registered, then you must go to DMV and pay your registration fees. Bring proof of payment of fees to the Customer Service Center.
