Transfer Permits

Upon sale of a vehicle with an Annual permit, the permittee shall be responsible for removing the permit. If the permittee wishes to transfer the old permit to a new vehicle, the old permit must be returned in to the Public Service Center. If the old permit is not turned in, no transfer credit may be allowed for the remaining months of the old permit. A flat fee of $11.50 will be charged to transfer a Preferential Parking Permit and a flat fee of $5.00 will be charged to transfer an Overnight Permit. Transfer of a permit from one vehicle to another shall only be allowed in the case of a sale of the old vehicle and purchase of a replacement vehicle within a household.
