Replacement Permits

If an Annual permit becomes damaged, a replacement permit can be purchased. The cost of a replacement permit is $5.00 for a replacement Overnight Permit and $11.50 for a replacement Preferential Permit. The expiration date on all replacement permits will be the same as the expiration date on the original permit being replaced.

Special Rule for Faded Permits

If an Annual permit becomes illegible due to fading, it will be replaced without charge to the resident upon return of the permit or upon submission of proof showing the fading (photograph)

Permits Not Received in the Mail

Visitor and/or Annual Permits that are lost in the mail must be reported with 30 days from the issue date in order to have permits replacement at no charge. The citizen may be issued new permits to replace the permits which were lost in the mail and never received if they sign an affidavit, within the prescribed 30 days, stating that they never received the permits in the mail. After 30 days of issued date the replacement fee will be at a prorated cost of $11.50 (for Preferential Permits) or $5.00 (for Overnight Permits).

Lost Or Stolen Permits

One Visitor Preferential Parking Permit per year per household can be replaced at a prorated cost ($11.50) when lost or stolen, if the applicant submits written documentation of actual loss to the Department, signed by the account holder.

You must provide the following items in order to purchase a replacement Visitor's permit:

A lost or stolen Overnight Visitor's Permit cannot be replaced until the original Overnight Visitor's permit expires.
