Replacement Permits

If a Resident (Annual) permit becomes damaged, a replacement permit can be purchased for $5.00. You must bring the following items to a Customer Service Center:

• Photo I.D.
• The damaged permit to be replaced. If your vehicle was in a car accident and the rear bumper was totaled, you may submit a receipt from an auto body shop stating that the rear bumper was replaced.
• If the person bringing the permit is not the registered owner, a letter from the registered owner authorizing the replacement, as well as a photo copy of the registered owner's photo ID

Special Rule For Faded Permits

If a Resident (annual) permit becomes illegible due to fading, it will be replaced without charge to the resident upon return of the permit or upon submission of proof showing the fading (photograph).

A lost or stolen Visitor's permit cannot be replaced until the original overnight visitor permits expire.
