Renewing Preferential and Overnight Parking Permits by Mail

If you have an active account, permits can be requested by mail by mailing payment to:

Please make sure to include in your written request:

• Preferential/Overnight Parking Permit Account Number
• Check or money order for the amount due payable to the City of Los Angeles (be sure to include your account number on check)

For Guest Permits Only

• Number of guest permits requested
• The date you want the guest permits for

Please allow approximately 3 weeks for your request to be processed.

Returned Check Policy: A payment by check that is returned for non-sufficient funds will be assessed a $35 returned check fee. If your check bounces, you can only renew by money order for one year, otherwise, the permit(s) issued will be suspended and your vehicle will be cited.
