Boot And Tow Hearings

If you believe that your vehicle was booted or towed in error, then you can request an emergency Boot and Tow Hearing. You must go to one of our four Public Service Centers and make an appointment. The hearing shall be conducted within 48 hours of the request, excluding weekends and holidays. If you paid for the citations at the DMV before your vehicle was booted, bring your itemized DMV receipt to the Hearing. The Boot and Tow Hearing will only determine whether or not your vehicle has a sufficient number of delinquent parking citation fines to make it eligible to be booted or towed. You cannot contest individual citations at the Boot and Tow Hearing.
